Fort de Tourneville
The Fort de Tourneville – an abandoned military fort – has been transformed into an experimental cultural venue. The FORT ! association is in charge of coordinating the 25 structures involved in this collaborative project.
Focus on Fort Play, a creative infrastructure designed with TATANE in 2019
On the occasion of A Summer In Le Havre 2019, the Fort has played as a team by gathering a creative community composed of resident artists and associations from the Fort de Tourneville area to design an atypical and fun football field, as a nod to the Women's World Cup which was held in Le Havre.
Street furniture, scoreboards, goals, centre circle, and penalty areas have been revisited by the inhabitants and the Fort's artists.
This sport and cultural fantasy carried out by the Fort and Tatane associations reassesses the rules of the game, in favour of a more « sustainable and joyful » way to play football.
From 17th June to 17th August : Fausto Gracia (Mexico) residency
Within the frame of its international residencies project, the Fort de Tourneville welcomes Mexican artist Fausto Gracia to the Fort and the city for the summer : two months to discover Le Havre and the Fort and exchange ideas on practices from here and abroad.
