Discovery tour: Hillside

In response to a search by Logeo Seine, a housing operator, Nantes artist Evor created an installation that will take its place in Allée Aimé Césaire: a plant cylinder that invites nature into the urban space, a structure to conquer for climbing plants.

This evolving work will develop over the years, under the eyes of passers-by and residents who can watch it slowly grow.

"An aviary open to the sky, plant totem and trellis covered with climbing plants and graceful vines. Volubiles pour Aimé is a plant sculpture offering refuge for birds, insects and our desire for nature in the city. This setting from which our dreams as city dwellers escape evokes peaceful cohabitation with the luxuriance of the "wild" and embodies the reconquest of life in an urban environment.
