Born in 1999, Emma Ertzscheid studied at the Epinal ESAL. There, she developed an two-dimensional assembly approach, using forms and counterforms to represent displacements, disturbances and transformations. In 2020, Emma Ertzscheid joined the ESADHaR (Le Havre) Art Media Environment programme, seeking to play with the space, volume and flatness of her narrative images. With an interest in the external elements that disturb, shift and reveal the everyday, she brings a poetic dimension to the ordinary in juxtaposing it with the metamorphoses of the landscape. In 2022, she spent a semester at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (Jerusalem).
For this new season of Un Été Au Havre, Gaël Charbau has sought to continue developing the work carried out with ESADHaR students in the public space.
