Place du Vieux
Marché

Named Cannibals' Square in the 16th century, it was the site of one of the city's two largest markets twice a week. In the past, ships loaded with exotic products returned from their explorations of unknown lands to this square. Today, the market has moved and this space, which has become a parking lot, is being redesigned to become a lively square once again.
