Born in Burgundy and of Sicilian origin, Pier Sparta began his studies at the Toulouse Beaux-Arts. In 2021, he graduated from Tatiana Trouvé's studio at the Paris Beaux-Arts. It is in the field of sculpture of human expression that he develops his plastic language. For him, figurative sculpture has become a way to evoke the human in its psyche and its physical space, linked to the environments it crosses. He mixes a process of life with an artistic process in modelling man in a dreamlike life. Nominated at the 2022 Révélations Emerige, Pier Sparta took part in the Vent des Forêts in the same year, where he created a collective work with a group of volunteer prisoners from the Saint-Mihiel centre.
